Watchdog

Founded in 1983, Watchdog serves over 300 pre-school children with diagnoses including autism, learning difficulties, global developmental delays, Downs Syndrome, cerebral palsy, hyperactivity annually. They run separate English and Chinese Programmes on the assessment and training of key development areas in cognitive, fine motor, gross motor, sensory integration, self-help skill, expressive and receptive language, and social relationship. Our mission is to help children with special needs fulfill their full potential at the earliest possible age.

Benji’s Centre

Benji's Centre was founded in 2004. It is the first and only charitable organization providing specialized one-to-one professional speech therapy to children and teenagers from low-income families. Currently there are over 260 children receiving service and have helped over 1500 children since its establishment. 70% of them enjoy free remission, while the rest of 30% pay the fee equal to half of private therapy charge. Still over 150 children are on the waitlist.

FOCUS - Focus On Children's Understanding in School

F.O.C.U.S. is a Hong Kong based non-profit organization whose mission is to promote public awareness of Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Attention Deficit/Hyeractivity Disorder (AD/HD), also improve the education of children who are challenged by these learning differences. F.O.C.U.S. began as a parents' support group in 1990 and registered as a charity in Hong Kong in 1997. Little Kids Learning Academy

Founded in 2009, LKCF is established to provide services to children with special educational needs. They offer 4000-sq-ft well-equipped training center in Jordan, Kowloon. Their goal is to enhance education through training programs and to increase capability for parents to continue training their children at home. They care for a broad range of developmental challenged children with emotional, behavioral, and learning disabilities in their early years.

They aim to help and serve the children over 2 years old with various disorders under the category of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Their services will be greatly beneficial to kids who are on a waiting list for the government provided services. Time is the essence. Early intervention can make a big difference in a child’s development. The Child Development Centre At Matilda

The Child Development Centre is a non-profit making organisation at Matilda providing integrated education for children with learning difficulties from multinational English speaking families. The only English speaking facility of its kind in Hong Kong, the centre provides education and intervention for children from birth to six years of age. Children with learning difficulties are integrated with their peers in an environment devoted to learning through play and are supported in their learning by a multidisciplinary team.
